From the airport

Perth Airport is located 14km kilometres from the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre and services direct national and international flights daily. Perth Airport is a 20-minute drive from the city centre, or an even quicker 18 minute, AUD $5 direct train ride away. Public Transport

Perth has an extensive public transport system of buses, trains and ferries. With Elizabeth Quay station only a few minutes away, Perth's public transport system is a quick and efficient option when visiting the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre. Taxi, Ridesharing and Car Hire

If you’re planning to spend your stay in the city, you’ll best experience Perth walking, taking advantage of the free CAT service or booking short car rides. Taxis can be booked for pick-up or drop-off at Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre, with a dedicated drop-off point at the Centre.

 

Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre and CBD

The Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre is conveniently located in the heart of Perth’s CBD and minutes away from major hotels and entertainment options, Perth Convention Centre is easily accessible by foot. The venue is located minutes from Kings Park, Yagan Square, and some of Perth’s top hotels including The Ritz-Carlton, Adina, and InterContinental.

Accessible event for all

Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre is an accessible venue to all visitors and are committed to understanding and supporting equal access and opportunity for all who pass through our doors. 
 
  • Public Entrances: Public entrances on Mounts Bay Road allow for wheelchair access via low-grade ramps, automatic doors and lifts.
  • Lifts: Elevators are fitted with accessible control panels, audio information and braille buttons. Each floor inside the venue is accessible by one of our elevators. 
  • Signage: Pictographic signs and accessibility maps are placed throughout the venue for easy reference and wayfinding.
  • Bathrooms: There are 7 unisex accessible toilets for guests with limited mobility located throughout the venue. All accessible toilets have hand basins and are fitted with a monitored emergency duress system. 
  • Assistance Animals: Guide dogs and registered assistance animals are welcome in all areas of the venue as per legislation requirements. We ask guests to have certification for service animals and that their service animal is wearing a vest that identifies them as such. 
  • Food and Beverage: Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre can cater for special dietary requirements for events by prior arrangement with your event organiser. 
  • Coat check & storage: For added convenience, you have complimentary access to a coat check and luggage storage, available at the main reception. 
  • Emergencies: Frontline staff are trained to respond to emergency situations. Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre staff will assist in the event of a fire alarm or other emergency. If the Centre has to be evacuated, public address system announcements will be made and audible alarms will sound. 
  • Foyers and Corridors
    All foyers and corridors are sufficiently wide and are kept clear for easy wheelchair and pedestrian access. Resting spots are available in all concourses and foyer areas. Loose lounge seating is available in these areas.
