IFSCC 2026

Our Location
Western Australia offers a rare blend of world-class science, jaw-dropping natural landscapes, and an irresistible dash of Aussie charm, making it an unforgettable adventure destination for international collaboration.

Perth - the state’s vibrant capital, enjoys more hours of sunshine than most cities in the world, perfect for starting the day with a coffee-fuelled scientific debate, moving through the mornings at the 2026 congress with a side of Vitamin D, and somehow ending up at the beach at sunset (lab coats optional, sunscreen non-negotiable).

Western Australia - where you come to experience our passion for mixing big ideas with big landscapes, cutting-edge research and ancient wisdom working hand in hand and every day ends with sunset drinks over the beach and the obligatory quokka selfie.

Due to its vast landscape, Western Australia is home to a fast-growing cosmetic science sector that harnesses the remarkable properties of it's unique native botanicals — from the first commercialism of antioxidant-rich Kakadu plum to the early adoption and integration of traditional custodianship for sandalwood oil production. Not to mention the Square Kilometre Array, one of the most ambitious astronomy projects on the planet, groundbreaking research in marine science, biodiversity, and renewable energies.

Our Venue
Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, located on the doorstep of Elizabeth Quay, is Western Australia's largest purpose-built events venue. Being one of the most centrally located venues in Perth it is a short stroll from hotels, landmarks and riverside paths. Catering for up to 5,000 delegates it is built on three levels featuring a 2,500 seat tiered auditorium, grand ballrooms, meeting rooms and exhibition pavillions.

Our Logo
The Kangaroo is the centre piece and the most important part of the logo. The red of the logo represents the red ochre which is used right throughout Australia by Aboriginal people for ceremonial rite.

The boomerangs that are depicted in the logo are a representation of safe travel. When the boomerang is thrown correctly it will return back to the owner. The boomerangs in this logo represents a blessing to all conference delegates travelling to Australia that they will return home safely.

The chemistry motifs depicted in the logo tie in our industry and represent the science that goes into creating cosmetic products.

The logo was proudly designed by first nations man Kevin Kropinyeri and his business partner Paul Marrotta.
Our Artist
The 2026 IFSCC congress logo was designed by Kevin Kropinyeri. He is a proud Aboriginal man from the Ngarrindjeri Nation of the lower River Murray, Lakes and Coorong region in South Australia.
Kevin is one of Australia’s most established and popular Aboriginal comedians with a long list of Australian TV credits. A high-energy performer, Kevin is sharp, likeable, silly and measured; mixing keen observational standup with joyfully ridiculous physical comedy. His engaging brand of comedy warmly invites both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal audiences to share his journey, his culture, his life.
Kevin is a regular feature on the mainstream corporate, club and festival circuits and a Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow regular. He is a bona fide star of the Indigenous performing arts scene.
