Poster Display and Presentation
-
Authors are responsible for printing and bringing their own poster. Please ensure it is printed on paper or fabric (no plastic/card), in A0 size, with no margins. We will provide the contact details of a local printer closer to the congress.
-
Posters will be displayed for the entire congress and authors are responsible for their installation and removal – authors will be notified of the time and location of their display in advance.
-
Authors will be asked to present their poster during dedicated session times (which will be provided prior to the congress), and should be prepared to discuss their research and answer questions. It’s the responsibility of the author to attend their session time so that the award committee can complete its scoring.
Optional: Digital Assets
Authors have the option of using personal digital devices (e.g. tablets, phones) to complement their presentations during their poster session. This is an opportunity to add dynamic elements that aren’t possible with a printed poster. Only visual assets are permittable, no sound. Acceptable digital content includes:
-
Short animations illustrating complex processes
-
Video clips of experimental demonstrations
-
Microscopic footage or other visual data
-
Videos should be concise and focused on aspects of the research that benefit from dynamic visualization. They should not replace the author's in-person explanation or be a pre-recorded presentation of the poster.
-
Please note that the congress organisers will not provide any equipment for digital assets. It is the sole responsibility of the author to provide the device and ensure it is fully charged.
-
Please ensure that any digital asset is muted. Authors are not permitted to add any sound to their presentation.
The poster program will be published online.
We encourage posters be printed in a sustainable, environmentally responsible manner with printing and supply of the poster the sole responsibility of the presenting Author/company.
