Who Killed My Sunscreen? A Case of a Product Death by Science!
John STATON, ASCC Life Member and IFSCC Fellow with over 30 years in the sunscreen development and testing area, will lead us through a close to real life investigation of the demise of the (imaginary) product: “Zinc & Sail”. We explore the preventative steps that should have been taken prior to product launch.
The Test Case. Pre-armed with your copy of the “hard” evidence and presented with opinions from our Expert Witnesses, you will become a de-facto jury member as we explore the mystery of the investigation of the events which might have lead up to the death of a prominent sun protection product.
Set sail for an inter-active workshop exploring the issues for a complex product category of Cosmetic Science. We explore the many factors which, without due diligence, interplay to potentially end the life cycle of a product prematurely.
Featuring:
The Witness: The Claimant : The Brand Owner : The Regulator : The IngredientSupplier : The Formulator : The Manufacturer : The Test Lab Scientific Experts for ISO 24444 : ISO 23675 : ISO 23696 : In Silico SPF Test methods
